This Privacy Policy supplements the Terms of Service for www.ccflonline.org (“Site”) and the Conference on Consumer Finance Law (“CCFL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and applies to visitors, users, and members of CCFL (“you”). By using our Site or Services (defined in our Terms of Service), you agree to this Privacy Policy. This version of the Privacy Policy supersedes any prior version.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect your personal information when you create an online account, sign-up for our Services, attend our conferences and/or webinars, join the CCFL, or engage with us on social media.  We also collect your personal information when you visit our Site.

We use your personal information to provide our Services, manage our membership, market our services, manage our Site, prevent fraud, or prosecute fraud, defend our legal rights, and to comply with our legal obligations.

We disclose your personal information to our web host and web providers, to other CCFL members, to conference and webinar sponsors, to libraries and legal research platforms that maintain our publications, and to payment processors for your membership dues.  We will disclose your personal information as necessary to our advisors (consultants, accountants, attorneys, insurers, etc.), law enforcement, courts, regulators, and government agencies.

SOCIAL MEDIA

We encourage you to review your privacy options and settings with the social media platforms and networks you use to understand what choices you have about disclosing your information through those platforms and networks with us.

DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS

Our site does not respond to Do Not Track Signals.

CHILDREN

Our Site and Services are not directed toward children, and we do not intentionally gather personal information from Site visitors who are under the age of 16. If we learn that a child under 16 has submitted personal information to us via our Site, we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible. MONITORING AND RECORDING

By visiting our Site and/or using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that your activity will be monitored or recorded, including by third party vendors for our internal use. Additionally, you acknowledge and agree that we may monitor and record all communication and Site interaction. By communicating with us (via telephone, our Site, or email) and/or by using our Services, you acknowledge and agree to such recordings and monitoring.

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at our discretion and at any time. When we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting a new version on our Site homepage.
